The course I took from Kyle Defoor a few years back was one of the best experiences I’ve had attending a shooting course. His professionalism, attention to detail, real-world experience and no bull-shit attitude were second to none. I’ve been following Kyle over the years to see what gear he recommends and his overall minimalist approach to things. One of the mini-breakout sessions that Kyle does covers medical. He goes over his kit, which is a simple kit stocked with only necessary items to treat traumatic injuries with. Becuase of that session, I have restructured my medical kits to be more streamlined.
“Trip prep 2 – Phokus Research med kit, spare tourniquet, a bumped up Adventure Medical Kits medium size kit for boo-boos and everyday stuff, seal line bag with a lighter, 550 and a set of flex cuffs….again all stored in a Magpul great weather resistant bags.” – Kyle Defoor
