Upon receiving the new Valor series watch I was extremely impressed. From the presentation of the metal hinged box to the watch itself, you know you’re getting a quality made timepiece. The Valor series has a very clean look which I prefer. The watch face does not have a day or date window; just the time. By not having a date window, you don’t have to worry about adjusting the date month to month. After all, we all have cell phones and smartphones that let us know the date.
The stainless steel watchband design has really blown me away. I’ve never worn a watch with stainless steel type watchbands because I could never get them to fit quite right and removing the links proved difficult at times. NFW Watches has remedied that issue with the absolute best stainless steel watchband design. Instead of using pins, the watch band links are secured via screw bars, which are not only easier to remove but provide more strength (10x stronger) over traditional pins. Using the included tools I was able to remove the necessary amount of links and have the band back together within 10 minutes. Once that adjustment was made, I put the watch on and clasped the band around my wrist. From there I was able to make fine adjustments with the ratcheting deployment clasp. Both the screw bar design and ratcheting clasp make this the best stainless steel watchband design out there.

NFW makes several different models of watches in support of organizations that support our military veterans. Take a look at their purpose-driven line for some of those designs. In keeping with that model, the Valor series supports a special group of veterans. “For each Valor watch sold, NFW donates $50 to Honor Flight, helping to fly WWII Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the monuments and treat these aging Heroes like kings. We’re honored to help raise funds & awareness for such an outstanding organization!”
*The knife in the featured photo was the knife my grandfather carried and used in WWII. The two pair well together, being that the watch honors our WWII Veterans.
